What does this mean?
- The North Carolina Commissioner of Banks has recently issued guidance indicating that HEI transactions on properties without a primary mortgage may be subject to reverse-mortgage regulations. Due to the requirements associated with these laws, Point is only able to offer our product to homeowners who have a qualifying primary mortgage in place before closing.
How can I become re-eligible?
