Point for Brokers is the channel through which mortgage brokers and loan officers offer Point's home equity investment to their clients. The program is live, partners are onboarded, and Point is forming a dedicated product team for it. The Senior Product Manager owns the broker product experience. That covers the broker portal where loan officers submit and track files and the tools that help them qualify clients. It also covers the integrations that place Point inside the systems brokers already use. This person takes over work already in flight, runs it end to end, and finds the next integrations and paths that grow the channel. They work with a dedicated engineering and design team and partner with Sales, Broker Operations and Compliance to grow the channel.
Own delivery across multiple broker workstreams at once, from discovery and requirements through launch and adoption.
Drive the broker roadmap, and tie each project to channel goals such as loan officer activation, submission quality and funded volume.
Write clear specifications for major features and manage all jira tickets through our SDLC process.
Make scope, design and technical trade-offs with engineering and design, and know which decisions to escalate.
Talk with loan officers, processors and brokerage owners every week. Combine what they say with support cases, session recordings and funnel data, and turn it into product recommendations.
Define instrumentation and success metrics before launch. Analyze results after launch and recommend the next step.
Scope and evaluate integrations with mortgage industry systems, such as pricing engines and loan origination systems, so brokers can work with Point from the tools they already use.
Partner with Broker Operations and Compliance so features hold up in practice, including task routing, document handling and state-by-state rules.
QA releases that span interrelated features, triage bugs, and decide what blocks a launch.
Report status, results and risks to Product leadership and channel stakeholders before they ask.
5+ years of product management experience.
Shipped major features in a B2B, B2B2C or partner-facing product, where the person using the product is not the end customer.
Took over an in-flight product or program and improved its results.
Writes SQL and uses analytics tools like Sigma or PostHog, along with AI, to form hypotheses and measure outcomes.
Sketches wireframes and gives specific, usable feedback on design work.
Builds alignment with Sales, Operations and Compliance partners without direct authority, and escalates when alignment fails.
Nice to have
Experience with mortgage brokers, loan officers or third-party origination (TPO) channels.
Experience with partner portals or Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Experience scoping API integrations with third-party platforms.
Experience in mortgage, lending, fintech or real estate.

Every year, Insider surfaces 100 leaders across 10 industries who are driving unprecedented change and innovation. Lim, the CEO and cofounder of Point, wants to make it easier for people to tap into that wealth. Lim’s company, which he founded alongside Eoin Matthews in 2015, offers homeowners lump sums of cash in exchange for a stake in their home.
Historically, homeowners could only tap into the equity of their homes by taking out a home equity loan or refinancing. But a new category of startups has emerged in recent years to give homeowners more options to cash in on their homes in exchange for a share of the future value of their homes.
