The PH Branch is on track to exceed 200 employees by year-end. With the introduction of new employee programs and ongoing efforts to improve payroll processes, Point PH Branch requires a dedicated resource with experience in end-to-end Philippine payroll administration, including statutory and government compliance.
This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and partnering with our payroll provider to enhance payroll reporting and implement system improvements. The role will also support accounts payable activities to ensure Philippine invoices are processed and paid accurately and on time.
Review and validate timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to payroll processing. Prepare clear and comprehensive payroll instructions for each payroll cycle.
Process employee reimbursements, ensuring submitted invoices are BIR-compliant and supported by appropriate approvals.
Coordinate with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Upload payroll batches to the online banking platform and verify the successful release of employee salaries.
Prepare payroll reports, schedules, and supporting documents required for audits and compliance reviews. Liaise with the third-party accounting firm on payroll-related accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
Manage year-end payroll activities, including tax annualization, reconciliation of compensation and withholding taxes, preparation of BIR-related payroll reports, and compliance with annual tax reporting requirements.
Partner with HR and the payroll provider to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Process Philippine vendor invoices, including vendor management, reconciliations, and approval coordination.
Ensure payroll and accounts payable activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and payroll-related activities.
Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll processes, labor regulations, and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR).
Experience using Philippine payroll systems; Sprout HR/Payroll experience is preferred.
Knowledge of withholding taxes, including taxes related to vendor and supplier payments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for payroll tracking, reporting, and data management.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and NetSuite.
