Location

This is a hybrid role. Our office is located at Arthaland Century Pacific Tower, 5th Avenue, BGC. This role requires going to our office at least one day a week.

Role Hours

The expected working hours for this position are from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM, based on the Philippine Time Zone (PHT).

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Closing Manager to lead our Closing team within Home Equity Investments (HEI). The Closing Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of title report review, collecting funds for debt payoffs, balancing closing fees with title companies, quality control of each file, and coordinating signing appointments between homeowners and Settlement Agents.

The Closing Manager will play a critical role in driving performance, scaling operations, and supporting revenue goals while ensuring a seamless homeowner experience. They will oversee daily closing functions, manage and develop team members, and partner cross-functionally to build a scalable, technology-enabled operational model that delivers a world-class investor and homeowner experience.

Your responsibilities

Team Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead and develop the Closing team, ensuring delivery of all closing functions with accountability for pipeline management and customer responsiveness.

  • Monitor team performance against established SLAs, proactively identifying and addressing gaps.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, communication, and accountability.

Operational Execution

  • Oversee the closing pipeline end-to-end to ensure timely and accurate file funding.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Underwriting, Valuations, Processing, and Servicing to ensure seamless handoffs and resolve escalations.

  • Refine procedures, controls, and reporting to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

Process & Technology Enablement

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to operationalize workflows and implement automation that drives efficiency and scalability.

  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies; establish best practices for closing work, customer communication, and funding preparation.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer inquiries and closing challenges.

  • Collaborate with title agencies, external partners, and government offices to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

  • Champion the homeowner experience by ensuring processes and communications are designed with the customer in mind.

About you

  • 1–3 years of experience managing a closing or mortgage operations team (preferred).

  • 3–5 years of experience in mortgage or equivalent real estate/HEI operations background.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams while balancing performance management and people development.

  • Strong knowledge of title report review, payoff fund collection, balancing closing fees with title companies, and quality control practices.

  • Proven ability to manage large pipelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; effective with customers and cross-functional partners.

  • Proficiency with G-Suite/Microsoft Office; experience with paperless workflows.

  • Experience collaborating with Product/Engineering to design or enhance operational processes (preferred).

  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
