What does this mean?

  • Point has a mandatory waiting period to become eligible after any foreclosure, deed-in lieu, pre-foreclosure, or charge-off; this includes homeowners who are currently going through foreclosure proceedings.
    • For foreclosure as shown on the credit report, the waiting period is 5 years.
    • For deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, preforeclosure sale, or charge-off of mortgage account, the waiting period is 2 years.
