What does this mean?

  • We identified deferred maintenance or repairs that deem the subject property as unsafe or not investable by Point.
  • If your property has undergone an appraisal as part of our application process, it is possible that the appraisal could only be completed “subject-to” repairs, meaning the value is contingent upon these issues being addressed.

How can I become re-eligible?

  • Subject to review, this eligibility may be met once the repairs on the subject property are complete. Please note that completing repairs does not guarantee approval, and your application will still be subject to a full underwriting review.
  • If you have completed repairs on your property following the appraisal and would like to be reconsidered, please provide proof that renovations are finished with us at decision-info@point.com. This may include:
    • Photos showing the completed work
    • A final contractor invoice or receipt
    • A certificate of completion or inspection (if applicable)
    • Any permits that have been signed off as completed
