What does this mean?

• Point is unable to proceed with applications when the applicant has had a recent bankruptcy that does not meet the waiting period requirements:
  
  • For Chapter 7 or 11 bankruptcy, the waiting period is 2 years from the discharge/dismissal date
  • For Chapter 13 bankruptcy, the waiting period is 2 years from the dismissal date or 1 year from the discharge date
  • Multiple bankruptcy filings - 5 years if there has been more than one filing within the past 7 years

How can I become re-eligible?

• If you have any court documentation showing your discharge or dismissal with a matching wait period, please share that with our team at decision-info@point.com for our team to review. 
• Subject to review, this eligibility may be met once the appropriate waiting period has passed. Please note that resubmitting an application does not guarantee approval, and your application will still be subject to a full underwriting review.
